The Highs & Lows of Leadership

What an evening! Thanks Victoria Williams for making this possible. Thanks Nadina Gradascevic and thanks to the inspiring panelists Doris Pulker-Rohrhofer, Karin Zipperer and Bronwen Moore!

An exciting evening with inspiring female leaders! Thanks Doris Pulker-Rohrhofer, Karin Zipperer and Bronwen Moore for inspiring us through your journey as leaders, thanks for sharing with striking honesty your challenges as well as successes, thanks for motivating us not to give up and support each other! Thanks to Nadina Gradascevic for moderating the panel with passion and to all attending for being a great interacting audience! A big thanks also to the WU Gründungszentrum for hosting us! Finally, a special thanks to Victoria Williams for being the master mind behind this event...we have missed you!

This workshop wass the opportunity to hear first-hand from three exceptional female leaders about their leadership in different countries and sectors.

The panel, chaired by Nadina Gradaščević, did not only discuss the personal development as leaders of 3 inspiring women, their successes and challenges but also addressed the core topic of how to reach gender balanced leadership, what we all be doing to support and accelerate this process and will inspire the audience to develop as female leaders or as men who support female leaders.

Doris Pulker-Rohrhofer is the Managing Director COO of Wiener Hafen (Vienna Port) and is the leader of the women in logistics network in Austria. Doris was previously Managing Director of CAT (City Air Terminal) as well as holding senior leadership roles in ÖBB (Austria Railways). She has a wealth of experience in these traditionally male dominated industries and as a senior Austrian female leader.

Our second panellist was Karin Zipperer. Karin Zipperer is CEO of  BWSG a property developer since February 2019. From September 2017 until January 2019, she was COO of ASFINAG (Austrian Motorways). Previously, she was Managing Director with Wiener Netze, the electricity and gas infrastructure operator of Vienna. She managed from 2011 until 2016 the Wiener Hafen. Before that, she was ten years with Vienna international Airport, finally responsible for the international investments as Managing Director of VIE International. Through this wealth of experience, Karin will bring a great perspective to the panel.

Finally we had the pleasure of welcoming Bronwen Moore onto the panel. Since 2009 she has been the Director of International Trade and Investment at the British Embassy in Vienna. She has extensive international experience and leadership of teams in both the public and private sectors. Bronwen has previously held positions in international sales, marketing and business development with several companies including The Economist, Mondi Group and Österreichische Post. An Australian by birth she will also bring great examples of cross cultural leadership. Finally we have the pleasure of welcoming Bronwen Moore onto the panel.

The Highs & Lows of Leadership! An excellent chance to hear real-life experiences and ask your questions and learn from our successful panelists.
