In February, instead of our typical social event, PWN Vienna had a member-only Connect Breakfast. For this occasion we have invited a special guest: Eleanor Warnock, deputy editor of Sifted. Eleanor has extensive experience in communications and media, and will share advice on how to advance your career by through personal branding and PR. Not only can a good PR strategy be your most powerful marketing tool, but it's often free!
Before socializing and having a wonderful breakfast at Salonplafond, Eleanor told the participants about her work, her experiences and her takes on how to brand oneself. Either as entrepreneur or as a member of a team. Furthermore she gave basic tips on PR - applicable to a company or a self-employed.
Eleanor is deputy editor of Sifted and has more than a decade of experience in journalism and communications. She started her career as a correspondent in the Wall Street Journal’s Tokyo bureau and was communications manager at one of Europe’s largest VC firms, Atomico, before joining Sifted. She has an MBA from INSEAD.
